Layout and typography is all about balance. Is there a text hierachy? A table grid? Too much or not enough space? Questions and decisions which lead to either a great layout which appears simple or to a cacophany of unrelated elements. To be the best, one must learn from the best.

My early inspirations in learning layout and design were drawn from viewing design mags such as DeskTop and Australian Creative aswell as work created by people like the Aussie designer Ken Cato. I also maintain an ever growing collection of 'junkmail', flyers, DL cards and other material which contains quality design. Producing my own layouts, I put into practice what I have learnt and always strive to produce clean, balanced and innovative layouts.
