The full title is.. “Vessel on Display – Essence of a Woman”. Inspired by a trip to a university museum of relics – vases, jars of animals, insects, etc. Initially influenced by Australian Painter Albert Tucker, I shifted gears and feel Picasso & the Surrealists pushed in to my artwork.
This is where the whole Soulworks Series started from. Initially inspired by the Title ‘Collective Culture’ – developed a concept based on what we all have in common beneath our images and nuances – our Souls are all the same.
