Painting completed now. Fauve-esque colours akin to the Color-Field painters (who I only just learn’t about). Not sure if I’ll add more detail to the rings as they seem to glow as they are.

Stretching out.. reaching for.. akin to the swimmer.. The Runner wants to reach the finishing line and to touch the ribbon. Unsure how this one will develop as a painting – perhaps as both colour variants. The exciting fauve-esque colours work well whereas the smooth blue has a calming effect. See what happens I guess.
